Throneway: Sanctum - February 2026

Held in February at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Throneway Sanctum 2026 continued the mission of creating a space of reverent worship, prayer, and encounter with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Through live worship, a keynote reflection by Rosemary Manathara, Eucharistic Adoration, and a night centered on the presence of God, Sanctum invited young people to step away from the noise of everyday life and return to the heart of worship.

Throneway: Sanctum - September 2025

Throneway returned to St. Gregory Parish in September 2025 for another edition of Sanctum. As one of the ministry's flagship event series, Sanctum continued to draw young people into a deeper encounter with Christ through live worship, reflection, confession, fellowship, and Eucharistic Adoration. The evening featured a keynote reflection by Amy Mathew, a Jesus Youth leader, inviting attendees to deepen their relationship with Christ and respond more fully to His call.

Throneway: Edge Camp 2025

Throneway returned to serve EDGE Camp, leading young people in worship, prayer, and encounter throughout the camp experience. Through music and ministry, the team helped create moments where youth could open their hearts to God, enter into prayer, and experience the joy of faith in community.

Throneway: Sanctum - March 2025

Throneway: Sanctum - March 2025

Throneway Sanctum 2025 continued what has become one of the ministry's flagship event series, gathering young people for worship, reflection, confession, fellowship, and Eucharistic Adoration. Held at St. Gregory Parish in March 2025, the night created space for prayer, encounter, and renewal before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. The evening featured a keynote reflection from Fr. Alvin Joys, a newly ordained priest from Jesus Youth who grew up within the Throneway community and was a member of the worship band before entering seminary. His presence made the night especially meaningful, reflecting the fruit of a shared journey of faith and service.

Throneway: Christmas

Throneway Christmas 2024 closed the year with a joyful night of music, worship, and community. In collaboration with Steadfast Worship and featuring a keynote by Kevin Michael, a Jesus Youth leader, the gathering invited people to celebrate the coming of Christ through fellowship, praise, and a shared love for worship. Rooted in the hope of the Christmas season, the night brought the community together to reflect on the gift of Christ and prepare their hearts for Christmas.

St. Carlo Acutis Relic Tour Collaboration with CCO 2024

Throneway collaborated with Catholic Christian Outreach during the St. Carlo Acutis Relic Tour, helping create a space for prayer, veneration, worship, and encounter. Centered on the witness of Blessed Carlo Acutis and his devotion to the Eucharist, the event invited young people to deepen their faith and draw closer to Christ through prayer and community.

Throneway: Edge Camp 2024

Throneway served the Archdiocese of Toronto's EDGE Camp in 2024, leading youth in worship and helping create moments of prayer, joy, and encounter throughout the camp. Through music and ministry, Throneway supported a camp experience where young people could grow in faith and community.

Linked in Christ 2024

Throneway served as the conference worship band for Linked in Christ 2024, a Jesus Youth national conference held at McMaster University. Serving over one thousand young Catholics from across Canada, Throneway led worship throughout a powerful weekend of prayer, formation, fellowship, and encounter.

Held in June 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Parish, Throneway Sanctum 2024 was a reverent night of Eucharistic Adoration, live worship, reflection, confession, and fellowship. Centered on encounter with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, Sanctum created space for young people to pray deeply, worship freely, and be renewed in the presence of God. The evening featured a keynote reflection from Sr. Gaudia Maria Magdalena of the Sisters of Life.

Throneway Spring: Overflow was a major spring worship gathering held at St. Josephine Bakhita Parish in Mississauga. The night brought the community together for fellowship, praise and worship, a keynote by Fr. Brendan Upton, and Eucharistic Adoration, a powerful reminder that when hearts come hungry, God continues to pour out more.

Throneway supported nine parish missions throughout the Lenten season alongside the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, serving through worship and ministry. Across these missions, parish communities were invited to enter more deeply into prayer, renewal, and encounter with Christ.

Interchaplaincy Retreat 2024

Throneway served an interchaplaincy retreat for university students from chaplaincies across the Archdiocese of Toronto, including the University of Toronto and Toronto Metropolitan University. Supporting the retreat through worship and prayer ministry, Throneway helped create a space where students from different campus communities could come together for formation, fellowship, and encounter with Christ.

Throneway Fall: Behold 2023

Throneway Fall: Behold was a fall worship and prayer gathering that invited the community to pause, behold Christ, and end the ministry year in worship. Praise and worship was led in collaboration with All4Him, and the evening featured a keynote from Fr. Matt McCarthy, Vocations Director for the Archdiocese of Toronto. The night continued Throneway's rhythm of gathering young people for encounter, fellowship, and praise.

Throneway: Renewal 2023

Throneway Renewal 2023 marked the return of the Renewal conference, a full day of Holy Mass celebrated by Cardinal Thomas Collins, praise and worship, keynote talks, Eucharistic Adoration, confession, and community. Building on the foundation of Renewal 2022, the conference gathered young Catholics for a day centered on revival, worship, and deeper encounter with Christ, featuring an art gallery by Creative Communion and keynote presentations from Erin Kinsella, a consecrated virgin, and David Patterson, host of the Yes Catholic Podcast.

Throneway: Spring Fervor 2023

Throneway Spring: Fervor was a spring praise and worship gathering and Adoration night rooted in zeal, prayer, and community. In collaboration with Steadfast Worship and featuring a keynote message from Marc Moreau, a CCO missionary, the night invited young people to worship with renewed passion and encounter God through music, fellowship, Eucharistic Adoration, and the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Throneway: Renewal 2022

Throneway Renewal 2022 marked the launch of Throneway's flagship Renewal conference, gathering campus students and young adults from across the GTA for an afternoon and evening centered on worship, creativity, and encounter with Christ. Held at Noble Hall in Oakville, the event featured Holy Mass, a praise and worship concert in collaboration with Steadfast Worship, a keynote address by Fr. Kevin Belgrave, an art showcase by Creative Communion, a panel discussion, Eucharistic Adoration, confession, and fellowship. Renewal 2022 became a defining milestone for the ministry, bringing together faith, beauty, and community in a way that helped shape the vision for future Renewal conferences.

Throneway: Freedom 2021

Throneway: Freedom 2021

Throneway Freedom 2021 marked a post-pandemic return to worship, community, and encounter. Held at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica in downtown Toronto, after the silence and isolation of COVID-19, young people were hungry to gather again, and registration filled immediately, with a waitlist forming soon after. Featuring a keynote address from Cardinal Thomas Collins, the night became a sign of renewal: a community coming back together to worship freely and seek God again.

Throneway: 2019

Throneway: 2019

Throneway 2019 was the second annual Throneway praise and worship concert, hosted with Jesus Youth Ontario and the Office of Catholic Youth. The night gathered high school students, university students, and young adults for live worship, a talk by guest speaker Benjamin Turland, a CCO missionary, and Eucharistic Adoration, continuing the early vision of creating a space where young Catholics could worship freely and encounter Jesus.

Throneway: 2018

Throneway: 2018

Throneway 2018 was the beginning, the first gathering born from the conviction that young Catholics in Toronto needed a space to worship freely, encounter God deeply, and give Him their best. Held at St. Francis Xavier Parish's parish hall, what began as a praise and worship concert became the seed of a larger mission: to build a culture of worship through the arts in the GTA and beyond.
